Paris Paris – The Intercoiffure Mondial Event 2022 offered 48 hours of passion and creativity at its best, as well as living enthusiasm for the hairdressing trade. From the 17. to September 18, 2022, Intercoiffure from all over the world experienced an unforgettable weekend in the French metropolis. Many member salons from Switzerland as well as the board of Intercoiffure Suisse and representatives of the Fondation Guillaume Switzerland were present.

After a long absence due to the coronavirus, it was clear how happy the hairdressers from all over the world were to finally be able to see each other again and exchange ideas in person. With a packed program of top-class hair fashion shows and performances, various international artistic teams brought new trends to life and offered the audience plenty of variety and pure inspiration. Host Intercoiffure France delighted visitors with genuine French traditions, such as a visit to the Paradis Latin and a luxurious dinner cruise on the Seine, which provided an unforgettable experience for all participants. The view of the Eiffel Tower was not to be missed. The weekend highlights included the award ceremonies of the World Academy, Intercoiffure Chevalerie and the best of this year’s international TRENDblast Contest. Several representatives of Intercoiffure Suisse also received awards this year. Intercoiffure Suisse President Cornelia Fabbricatore and Vice President Gino Chilla were honored with the Officer Chevalerie Award. While Fondation Guillaume Switzerland director Sandra Mariño was appointed Knight, René Sommer was awarded the title of Commander. Günther Ehrler was officially bid farewell as an Honoré member. All award ceremonies were held in a very festive setting. Other impressive moments were provided by the hair fashion shows, including the presentation of the Fondation Guillaume International, where two talented young Swiss hairdressers, Charlotte Illi and Fiona Machaz, performed live on stage. Intercoiffure Suisse also presented breathtaking looks from their new “Disrupted Elegance” collection live on stage with Marc Menden, Sandra Mariño and René Wagner. The creative teams from Intercoiffure Bulgaria, Austria and Canada presented further varied presentations.
