Intercoiffure Suisse offers its members the opportunity to visit exciting shows and inspiring events worldwide, to help shape them, to receive first-hand trend information and to actively network with colleagues. This privacy policy explains the nature, scope and purpose of the collection and use of personal data by Intercoiffure Suisse and provides information about your rights. These rights are governed in particular by the Swiss Data Protection Act (“DPA”) and the Data Protection Ordinance (“DPO”).

We process the following personal data in relation to Intercoiffure Suisse members:
Member data: First and last name as well as contact details, date of birth, education, hairdressing salon(s) and background information (e.g. from the commercial register, press or Internet).
Performance and billing data: Information on the services provided and invoiced as part of the association’s activities, invoice data, payments, bank details.
Event data: Information provided by you in connection with your participation in our events.
Internet data: Information and log files that are transmitted by the Internet browser when you access our website. This data includes in particular IP address of the accessing computer; name of the accessed page; date and time of access; URL referred to; number of data transmitted; browser request and generally transmitted information on the operating system or browser. Until then, we will take appropriate technical and organizational security precautions to protect your personal data from unauthorized access and misuse.

We process personal data mainly in order to fulfill the purpose of our association, to carry out events and to provide, document, invoice and improve services. We then process the personal data in order to communicate with our members, to network them, to answer inquiries and to send them newsletters and information about services, events, courses, conferences and lectures, etc.
5. disclosure of personal data
To enable us to fulfil our purpose as an association, we work together with external service providers, namely from the hospitality industry, but also with manufacturers of beauty and hair products, suppliers, retailers and other business partners who may act as co-organizers and/or sponsors in relation to individual events. Your personal data may be passed on to such companies (based in Switzerland or abroad). In addition, personal data may be passed on within the Intercoiffure network (in particular to professional colleagues, Intercoiffure Mondial, ICD-Mond SA and the other national associations). Accordingly, you must expect your data to be transferred to all countries in which Intercoiffure is represented, provided that the legislation of the country concerned guarantees adequate data protection in accordance with the Swiss Federal Council.
6. rights of the data subjects
You have the right to request information about the personal data collected by Intercoiffure Suisse in accordance with Art. 25 FADP. If our processing is based on consent, you also have the right to withdraw this consent at any time with effect for the future. Insofar as the collection of personal data is necessary to achieve the purpose of the association, a revocation can lead to exclusion from the association.

Each member also has the option provided for in the FADP to contact the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner(www.edoeb.admin.ch).
7. adjustments to this privacy policy
It may be necessary to amend this Privacy Policy from time to time, e.g. if the law or the way in which Intercoiffure Suisse processes personal data changes. In this case, the new version of the privacy policy will be published on our website.
